bearable

two things in this life that make training for a marathon bearable
one. simply orange...country stand medium pulp
two. a hot, long shower

Hey Jess, do you use energy gels on your long runs at all? We started using them the past couple months (basically eat one per hour if you are running more than 8-9) It actually does help quite a bit! I like the Hammer Gels and the Powerbar Gels.

Hey! This is Jaimie's roommate, Janelle.. I hope you don't mind that I just read some of your blog. I just thought I would share one thing that helps a TON w/ recovery from long runs - ice baths! I'm not sure how far you are into your training, but definitely try one when your runs start getting really long! :)
