there are some things that never change like the simple joys of swimming out to the buoy and seeing who can make it up and who can't
then there's the reality of we really are 10 years older and a lot of you have beautiful children and spouses to prove it

needless to say i had a splendid weekend of reminiscing, laughs, a few tears, lots of warm embraces and smiles. i was pleasantly surprised of everyone that showed up and i hope for more familiar faces in 5 or 10 more years. i wouldn't have missed it for the world.

My reunion is next week. I will not be going since it is all the way across the country. Plus, that was so long ago--I'm not sure I'm ready to see those peeps again.
